Community guidelines
Welcome to the People and the Environment blog. The National Museum of Australia engages with communities throughout Australia on a number of topics and we encourage people to participate in and contribute to our online discussion blogs.
Like all communities we have expectations for participation and we think that it is important to be clear and transparent about our expectations. We ask for:
- language that is respectful, courteous and mindful of others’ feelings
- awareness of people’s privacy – you should not reveal information about yourself or others that may intrude upon their privacy
- awareness of copyright laws
- relevance to the post – our blogs are intended for people to engage with the Museum, its staff, collections and programs, not to use for other purposes.
